My site is seeing a lot more traffic lately. I finally got my web stats application back up and running, and the amount of traffic recently is crazy. Well, it's more than it used to be at least.

Why? Well, it looks like Google's web bot is quite a frequent visitor. According to their FAQ, "Googlebot should not access your site more than every few seconds, on average." Every few seconds!? I wouldn't believe it if my server logs didn't show more than a thousand hits from googlebot.

But hey, you can find my site via google. Until now, I didn't show up. I guess that's a good thing.
