Phoenix, Arizona to Juarez City, Mexico
Near the end of 2003, Jesse McCormack and I, Jason Signalness, rode section two of the Adventure Cycling Southern Tier Route. The route took us from Phoenix, Arizona to El Paso, Texas, over the course of nine days. The desert Southwest has a beauty all its own. The endless open space, the solitude, and deep blue skies made the trip enjoyable. The mountains along the route provided a challenge and beauty that made the trip extraordinary. I will miss those mountains. On this site, I have posted my detailed travel log and numerous photos from along the route. I hope you enjoy reading about our adventure in the Southwest. As always, I appreciate comments or questions. E-mail me at jason@jsignal.com. |
