"Walk with Christ for life" in Fargo
My understanding is that all of the abortion clinics in North Dakota have closed, except the one in Fargo. This awesome video shows the recent pro-life march in Fargo. I'm amazed and I wish I could have been there!
Praying before an abortion clinic is a powerful experience. Some of us go to the "Hope Clinic" in Granite City, Illinois, every Saturday to pray. After watching women enter the clinic and then leave shaken, ill, and no longer pregnant, I'm horrified. I would be so happy to see my home state, and country, rid of such an abomination.
Thanks to my friend Dawn for bringing this video to my attention.
Geocaching about town
Today I took a well-deserved study break for some bike riding and geocaching around the neighborhood. Click the image above to see some pictures I took on the Picasa map. I found three caches within a few miles of the seminary. I heard that it is 45 degrees back home in ND today. In Saint Louis, it is 91 degrees and humid! I'm running my air conditioner and they are running their furnaces.
On my geocaching bike ride, I passed by the famous "Ted Drewes Frozen Custard" stand just down the road from the seminary. It seems to me that when people come to Saint Louis, there are two things they want to see. Ok, well three. 1) The Cardinals playing baseball, 2) The Arch, and 3) Ted Drewes. I was tempted to stop for a snack, but I resisted and continued on my ride.
Speaking of Geocaching, I just realized that I never actually made my "Tour de Cache II" blog entry public so you could see it! CLICK HERE to check out those photos from back in July.
